✨PROTEIN VANILLA CUPCAKES WITH OATMEAL FROSTING✨ These cupcakes are the perfect go to for a sweet craving. I made these for my daughters birthday and they were a big hit! I made these with almond flour and no butter, cutting calories, but still keeping all the deliciousness!

2 cups almond flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1 scoop @sunwarrior vanilla protein powder
3 overripe bananas
3/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup vegetable oil
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup @silk vanilla almond milk
1/2 cup @fage vanilla Greek yogurt

For frosting:
8oz @fage vanilla Greek yogurt
2 tablespoons low fat cream cheese
2 tablespoons maple syrup
2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
4 tablespoons overnight oats (made with just oatmeal, almond milk and powdered peanut butter)

In a small mixing bowl, mix flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Set aside.

In a large bowl, smash the bananas. Add the oil, both sugars, and vanilla. Mix well. Next, add the almond milk, eggs and Greek yogurt. Mix again. Add the flour mixture and combine. Spray a muffin tin with cooking spray and place batter in each tin, filling it 3/4 of the way. Bake at 350 for 20-22 minutes.

While the cupcakes are baking, make the frosting.
Put all the ingredients into a bowl and mix with a hand mixer until combined.

Once the cupcakes are done, let them cook for about 20 minutes before frosting.
